Thanks to everyone who came out for my first-ever everything (reading, signing, cooking demonstration and book sale) at the Baltimore Book Festival on Sunday. Considering I sold about 20 books and didn’t lose a knuckle while chopping onions in front of 100 people, it was a huge success in my book.
Perhaps more exciting, however, were the two Crabby Mary’s I had on Saturday night at Olbricky’s Crab House.
Yes, that’s a crab leg in there.
My friend Adam Roberts, the Amateur Gourmet, gave a demonstration on Saturday. You can read his much-more detailed account here.

Emily, Thank you for taking the time to talk to me at the Baltimore Book Festival! I’m only sorry I didn’t make it back downtown to hear and see you! What you and Adam shared really did encourage my friend and I to pursue our passion! Our blog is almost ready to be launched! I’ll send you info and would love your honest feedback! Congrats on the book!! I’ll make sure to pick up a copy!
Cheers!
