This is the grand prize for the Fourth Annual Casserole Party. Mind you, I don’t actually own one. I just cooed over this one at the Brooklyn Kitchen tonight. Yet again, you’ll have one and I won’t. Why, oh why, does the cookie crumble so?

Try the Martha Stewart enameled casserole from Macy’s. I have it ‘n absolutely love it. The quality is (I think) comparable at less than 1/3 the price: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=256784&CategoryID=30209
Right now, they’re 50% off on sale, too!

Get married. Register for nothing but Le Creuset. Problem solved.

Wow, Corey. Was that ironic retro reference? I hope?
Most husbands don’t last as long as le Creuset. I lucked out and got a great husband that scours the Internet for deals on le Creuset and Staub. Love them all. Husband most of all. Talk about jackpot, hm?
Good old fashion pig iron/cast iron are the best bargains. You can pick up a rusty one at a yard sale, scrub it down, reseason it and it will last a life time too. No way to beat it, break it, chip it…mm mm mmm perfect for my City girl pulled pork, my cassoulet….
Happy cooking!

Oh my goodness – how can you be the casserole queen and not own the Le Creuset yet?! I lucked out and got one as a Christmas gift a while ago – love, love, love it. You HAVE to get one!!! Look for a Le Creuset outlet – I know there’s one in Carlsbad, Calif., but that does you no good.

Be careful with the Creuset stoneware. It can explode and apparently their customer service is a disaster — Creuset apparently agreed to replace an exploded stoneware dish after BB got involved but 6 months later Creuset still hasn’t sent the replacment.
The blue dish in this photo doesn’t look quite as nice
